  I signed on with MBP in March, 2003.  Steve got money rolling in from 2002 pending accounts within 3-4 weeks, and was very thorough in letting me know what was delinquent in order to send in all claims to be reimbursed immediately.  Now moneys for claims sent in are received 2-3 weeks from date of service.  He is faster and more efficient than I in getting paperwork processed, and excellent in letting me know if I was incomplete in any of the info I provide to him.

  I switched from another billing service to MBP because I was not receiving money for claims sent in.  Additionally, a fee per claim rather than a percentage of collections help you keep better tabs on your expected expenses.  I would never switch to another billing service.  In fact, I am so pleased with his services that I prepaid for 5000 claims.  I can't envision running my practice without MBP. 

  Steve is super quick in processing claims, great in follow through re:  claims not yet paid and missing info.  Steve sends all requests of info needed over secure e-mail so I can take my time and follow through as completely as possible to maximize communication efficiency.  Steve also sends confirmation of all claims processed daily so you can rest assured that his job is done correctly and timely.

     I have been a client of MBP since May, 2006.  I made the move to online billing to reduce my overhead from the in-office billing service I was using at the time.  My fears were:

     1)  That the process of getting set up would be difficult and leave large information gaps that would ultimately mean the claims were not being properly processed....more so because MBP operates out of Pennsylvania and I practice in California.

     2)  I would lose control of the billing process as it would not be off-site.

     3)  Inputting ongoing claim data would be very complicated and time consuming.

     In fact, none of these fears were valid.  Individual patient data entry really was easy.  Yes, it took some time to enter all the information, but the process is straightforward and needs only to be done once.  Thereafter, once a patient's info is in the system, office visit claim data is a breeze to enter...3 lines usually, 4 lines at most.  This is a hell of a lot easier than ASHP's ridiculous ASH link system.

     I feel more in control of the billing process because I am actively involved in it.  Communicating with Steve is a pleasant experience.  Usually done via e-mail, he responds very quickly, often the same day, sometimes within minutes.  He has a deep grasp of the insurance game, and has commented on errors I've made.  I have referred several friends to him, and I would not be hesitant to do the same to you.  Feel free to call or drop me an e-mail if you need more information.

     We have found this to be a very cost effective way to handle our claims.  Not only do we get to have the latest version of the software.  Several of our headaches are gone, like backup up the software; it is handled on he other end.  I can access my billing from home or anywhere that I am.  I appreciate that several of the day to day managing software management is gone.  This is also for the same cost of upgrading software we are saving on.

     After being a client of MBPros since April, 2005, I am happy to say that the service provided is excellent!  Our claims are submitted like clockwork, and the constant stream of payments from insurers is definitely due to the MBPros system.  The support network that answers our questions is always there when we need them, and the response back is within 1 hour.  Its like having staff that know all the answers.  Finally, since MBPros is web-based, I can access the system from anywhere, and I believe being a successful business owner typically requires some sort of parlay from even out of the office.  I highly recommend Medical Billing Professionals for the Doctor who wants to work "on" their practice, not  "in" their practice.  They are simply the best medical billing system out there.

    I have been using Medical Billing Professionals since May, 2007.  I was immediately impressed with the prompt customer service and follow-up provided as I signed on.  Along the way, I have had few problems, but when they did surface Medical Billing Professionals worked with me to sort them out quickly.  One example was in the transition to NPI usage.  I had neglected to obtain a Group NPI to replace my Group Medicare number...big problem!  But Medical Billing Professionals helped determine why the claims were being rejected, made the call to the intermediary and directed me to the proper connections to correct the problem.
